Acorn Growth Cos. Promotes Kendra Clements VP of Human Resources.
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK -- Acorn Growth Companies (AGC) announces that it has promoted Kendra Clements to Vice President of Human Resources for the Oklahoma City-based private equity firm that is focused exclusively on aerospace and defense industries.
Clements has served as Director of HR for AGC since November 2011, bringing 18 years of experience in Human Resources. She is responsible for HR activities for AGC and its 11 aerospace and defense industry portfolio companies located across the U.S. and in Europe.
“Kendra brought deep knowledge of HR strategies to AGC and our portfolio companies,” said Jeff Morton, Chief Financial Officer at Acorn Growth Companies. “She has implemented initiatives across our operations that have resulted in cohesive policies and have raised the level of professionalism at each location.”
Clements is a seasoned HR executive with experience in transportation, manufacturing, eCommerce and private equity industries. She began her career in 1992 with United Parcel Service and has served in leadership roles for such companies as DIRECTV, NTT/Verio, Inc, and AIMCO.
Most recently before joining AGC, Clements was an independent HR consultant targeting small businesses who were positioned for growth. She advised companies on systems, best practices, policy and procedure, organizational development, change management, operational effectiveness, company culture and talent management.
Clements is a graduate of Oklahoma City University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in political science.
