Acorn Growth Companies is seeking nominations for the Seeds of Greatness Award, presented annually to recognized Oklahoma-based aerospace and defense industry leaders. Deadline for nomination submission is May 25, 2012.

The Seeds of Greatness Award, which Acorn introduced in 2007, recognizes Oklahoma aerospace and defense companies, government agencies, teams, or individuals that have created cost savings or revenue enhancements through innovation. One public sector and one private sector awardee will be selected. The Acorn Partners will present the award during a ceremony at the Oklahoma Aerospace Summit and Expo June 5, 2012 being held at the Embassy Suites in Norman, OK.

“We encourage members of the aerospace community to nominate leaders who have improved business results through innovative ideas and processes,” Acorn Partner Jeff Davis announced. “The focus on cost savings for both the private and public sectors has never been more important in the Oklahoma aerospace and defense sector as we continue to assess the impact of industry-wide budget cuts.”
