Acorn Growth Companies Announces Vice President of Finance
Acorn Growth Companies, a global private equity firm focused on aerospace & defense, announced that Dale Jordan has joined the firm as its new vice president of finance. Jordan brings more than 27 years of executive management, accounting and finance experience, primarily with high growth enterprises including more than 30 international acquisitions representing over $500 million in debt and equity financing.
“We are very pleased Dale has joined our executive team in this newly created capacity in our finance department,” said Acorn partner Jeff Davis. “He brings extensive mergers and acquisition experience to our organization and he will play an instrumental role within the organization as we continue to grow our aerospace investment portfolio.”
Reporting to Jeff Morton, CFO, Jordan will oversee the financial reporting, financial planning and analysis, and other accounting-related functions of the organization. He will also play a significant role in leading the organization’s collaboration and integration of current and future acquisitions.

Prior to joining AGC, Jordan served as CFO of Advanced Academics, one of the leading providers of online education for public school students in the United States. His experience also includes financial leadership positions in technology, manufacturing and aviation related businesses. Jordan started his career as an accountant at Arthur Andersen. He is a certified public accountant in Texas and Oklahoma and a graduate of Texas Christian University.
