Michael Manning Joins the AGC Composites & Aerostructures Group as Chief Financial Officer

AGC Aerospace & Defense is pleased to announce that Michael Manning has been appointed the Chief Financial Officer of the AGC Composites & Aerostructures Group.

Manning’s appointment is designed to complement and enhance the skills mix of the senior management team. He will be responsible for providing the financial strategy and leadership to assist the group in achieving its objectives.

Manning has over 30 years of executive experience in corporate finance, including mergers and acquisitions and has recently served as the CFO for Cargotec Holding, Inc. and Assa Abloy. He has led financial planning teams responsible for over US$1Billion in annual sales volume and specializes in building finance teams to meet the reporting objectives of stakeholders.

Manning is a senior finance executive with a proven record of providing leadership and strategic direction, and building cross functional teams in complex international matrix organizations. He is a Certified Public Accountant, and earned his MBA from the University of South Florida, and BBA in Accounting from the University of Wisconsin.

Manning will be responsible for providing the financial strategy and leadership to assist the group in achieving its objectives.

The AGC Composites & Aerostructures Group includes the designers and manufacturers of advanced composites—both structural and nonstructural—as well as manufacturers of precision metal aerospace products and assemblies that demand specialized equipment, tooling and manufacturing processes. Its specialized products and capabilities include custom-designed composite weapons pylons for legacy weapon systems, composite details and assemblies for aircraft currently in production, precision metal assemblies for aircraft engines, and aircraft structural fusion welding (ASFW) on alloy metal parts for aftermarket spare parts programs.
